Greetings, all
I'm in the process of upgrading the sound in my W123. I already have two 10" coaxials in the rear shelf, but I am thinking about installing subs behind the underdash scuff panels. I also want to install speakers in the door panels, since my radio has effectively 10 channels out, of which 4 are occupied at the moment.
I prefer many small speakers to one or two large units anyhow (more speakers playing softer sound better to me than fewer playing louder), but the limitation in space has compelled me to look for the smallest shallow (if possible) subs. I'm hoping to install two subs, one on the driver's side and one on the passenger side.
I know that my W202 has small (5.25") shallow speakers with low pass filters, but I seem unable to get such or similar units for sale. Any ideas?
Thanks
