This weekend was the largest gathering of AMG's in the country. We had 3 (or 4) SL65's, 3 SLK32's, an ML55, a C32, several E55's, and E55 wagon, an SL55, a couple of CLK55's, and a C55.

I will post pics, dyno graph, and more info when I have time.

Some info that many will be interested in.

1) The C55 put down 280hp. As a note about the low number it only had 3,000 miles.

2) The SLK32's were all very close in their numbers. I put down 298.5 hp and 292.6 ft/lbs of torque. If memory serves the SLK32 with the most miles (40k+) put down 294hp and 300 ft/lbs of torque. The other SLK put down 292hp and 288 ft/lbs of torque.

3) The E55's dynoed within 1hp of each other.

More info to follow.

Tomorrow is off to the drag strip.

those are rear wheel #'s. the manufacturer rates it at the flywheel. Usually 15% loss due to drivetrain friction is normal (maybe a little higher w/automatics). 290HP is about right for a 350HP engine.

My SLK32 AMG dyno'ed at 296hp/292-torque, and it has 56,500 miles on the odometer (the other SLK's had less than 17k on them.[:)]

Hopefully I will receive an email today containing the dyno runs from all 3 slk's or better yet the dyno runs of all the AMG's. I did take some photo's of the prinout from the dyno. I will look through and see if they are readable enough to post.

The AMG autos should be fairly close manuals. They have a lock-up in every gear.
