Hi Guys, this maybe a dumb question but here goes: When I lock the car with the roof down, the glove box and the doors lock and presumably the engine is imobilised, all good. However if I lean over and pull the inner door handle, both doors and the glove box unlock. Ive read through the Owners Manual and it seems that it has been designed like that? Doesn't seem right does it? Am I missing something here?? Many thanks in anticipation.

Regards

Mine works the same way. The alarm is activated if someone opens the door so if there are people nearby, it will be obvious that they are attempting to break into the car. I used to own a BMW sedan that had a motion detector built into the headliner. I never had to worry about people reaching in when the windows were down. Of course, that solution doesn't work with a convertible, so I guess this is the next best thing...
