It will be an outstanding drivers car, and the retail in the UK will be about the same as the SLK55 AMG. What's more, it will almost certainly be as quick on a track as the Merc, because of the advantages of less weight, a stiffer chassis, and better balance and traction. ] and since I've had a 911 C4 for the last three years, I'm done with the Porsche thing (for the moment at least). Plus, the SLK is much better looking. I've never cared much for the Boxster anyway, although I have to admit it looks way better with a coupe roof than with the fabric tent and strange rear.
