i beg to differ, i think as concept cars, they look pretty nice.. my main problem is.. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE MOVABLE HOOD!! I thought it is due to our metal hood that makes the slk special..

I kind of like it. But if you look on first pic - you can't see after that hood. On a second it's much lower.

And forget the vario roof - that thing doesn't have door

I like these renderings. If they build a concept like that, with slightly less of the sharp edged lines, that would be HOT…….

haha.. oops! you're right Kirill! there's no door.. wipers.. etc.. but i would have hoped the change would not be so radical.. at least keep the vario hood! haha.. but very nice concept cars. certainly would like to see how these would work out in reality..

The second pic looks more like Crossfire concept cars than SLKs.
The first pic is just plain ugly IMO...

I can't say that the roof folds into the trunk, but damn with all that glass in the back, repairs will cost a $1,000 at LEAST if you get only a slight tap in the rear from an SUV.............
