i changing out my rear hub bearings and i noticed that my control arms are bit sloppy. the problem is mine are adjustable with swivel joints on each end. what i see is everyone is selling one piece non adjustable units, i called the dealer who didnt know what im talking about any ideas ? i want to replace them. slk control arm.JPG slk control arms.JPG

the only thing that you can adjust is toe on the rear end. that looks like an aftermarket part to adjust the camber on the rear end. someone might have lowered the car in the past and wanted to adjust the camber to save rear tyre wear. factory part allows no adjustment.

yeah that will work, but if your car has aftermarket springs to lower it significantly it will wear out the inner tyres more.

if it is the stock height (or a mild lowering) with stock sized wheels (factory 16/17") it is perfectly fine

mine has been lowered with h&r springs and I don't use adjustable rear control arms and tyre wear is fine (even)
