i have noticed mine doing the same thing on rare occasions, i don't think it's a problem because it has never gotten worse. try not to back up when coming to your parking spot for couple weeks, and see if same thing happens when tranny is cold.

I remember something like this almost a year ago. It happened at most twice with my 420.

Reversing down a hill I started to hear sounds like rattling, I've never heard a bad CAT but that was my first thought at the time.

I ignored it and went about my daily routine. It hasn't appeared in a while.

Thanks guys, It does not sound like an internal transmission problem, maybe a diff mount or transmission mount problem as it sounds like the noise is coming from flexing. The best thing to do is to throw it on the lift and take a look. I'll have a go this weekend.

I would check the front flex disc - about a $90 parts to replace - OE parts since there are a lot of China/cheap flex disc kits out there..
