I have a 98 sl600 that needs a set of catalytic converters, I see from threads that it might be best to go for oems. Any ideas where to get a pair for the best price.

Not sure where you are but I have a set of Magnaflow high flow metal substrate cats and downpipes Made for an SL600.

There's a gov't recall on the SL600 cats, as many had production defects. I got a letter from MBUSA saying they are warranted for something like 10 or 12 years and 100k, as part of their settlement. I have the notice tucked inside my owners manual, let me check it and see what years are covered. Maybe you can get free ones.
