Hi there,
I have vacuum leak that I finally discovered after one month of searching! It is the lower portion of the three way check valve that goes from the intake manifold to the brake booster. The problem is that I can't find the replacement part, not even from the dealer! I think I will end up adapting a check valve from the SL500 and adding a T connection for the breather line.
The dealer has ordered P/N 1294303129, #70 from the below image.

I'm pretty sure I need #75 so I ordered 129-430-30-29 from an online parts store for a fraction of the price. Anyone know exactly what's the exact P/n for the 3 ways check valve?

This one has nothing to do with the crankcase. It supplies vacuum from the intake manifold to the brake booster.

For model years 96 and 97, it seems to be A1294301929. A1294300629 for older, A1294302229 for newer. Not sure what the difference is.

I've attached screenshots from the Daimler Parts Information system. It's the "official source of truth" these days and I have access thanks to my membership in the local MB club. The part you've ordered, A1294303029, seems to be for the M112 and M113 engines. I'm not quite sure what A1294303129 is for. Looks like it might be for 99+ SL600s, but it looks totally different in the picture. Did they move to a simpler design at that point?

Yes Intake manifold, corrected! Weird that the part guy at the dealer couldn't figure that out! So what would be your guess for a 98? A1294301929?

I think it was A1294302229 for 98. I remembered you had a 96 but I'll check again to make sure when I get back to a computer.

A1294302229 shows the connection to the booster with a nut, mine use a grommet and a plastic plug. Very similar to the one below, including grommet #116, but as you can see below another few different codes. The one thing I know, I have the steering on the left and not on the right...
