I wasn't able to make the LA (Redondo Beach, I believe) get together about 4-5 weeks ago. I was wondering how it went and if there are any other dates planned? I would enjoy the opportunity to met with some other owner/fans.

I am in the infancy stage of starting the Southern California SL Class Car Club (www.slclass.com) and would like to welcome you aboard. Obviously, you are automatically a member...
The last gtg I planned in Redondo went well. I had about 16 cars come and go in a two hour span, including a few Kompressors and new 230's. The 107 turnout was the highest (my own included). A bunch of us enjoyed the coctails, food, and eye-candy that the SoCal beach communities are famous for. I plan on another soon to keep generating interest. I'll keep you posted...

Thanks for being so diligent. Sorry I missed you Sundays are a little tough until about 1:00 in the afternoon for me. It's about an hour drive from La Mirada. Sounds like a nice day. Thanks for keeping me/us posted. Talk with you when it's convenient.

I just recently got a 380SL that has been swapped to a 500 euro engine. I see that slclass.com doesn't exist any more but are there any more get togethers?
