I have a problem with the left turn signal staying on. I have read the other posts about it possibly being the control module that's in the fuse box. The part number that lynns was giving 10/2 box was different than the part number on the one in my car. My question is: did they use different part numbers for different years? And is this still the essentially the same part? The part number on mine is 1408207626.

is the bulb good? ck with an ohmeter rather than the eyeball.

i've seen steady on and real fast blinking when the bulb is bad.

Start with the bulb; easy things first.

I would assume you'd witness the same from the rear if it was the control module.

I do witness the same thing from all bulbs, the one on the front, the rear, and the one on the cluster. It doesn't do it all the time, just sometimes. It's like it just hangs. There have actually been a few times when i have come out to get in my car and the left turn signal is stuck on, even though the lever inside the car is off, and was off when I parked it.

If it's a recurrent problem, acting on all sides of the car, time to check the relay.

If you can hear the relay 'click on & off'....... then get the handle of a screwdriver and tap it, to see if you can un-stick it.......

Then replace it.

Maybe?
