It sounds like the wire gremlins have ate the insulation in the mirrors. Its a common issue. You can track down a set of mirrors or rewire them yourself. the module that controls that is under the pass carpet. They usally survive but it sounds like a good amount of smoke came out.
Side mirror went in smoke
Hi yesterday afternoon while parked, I was trying to adjust the driver side mirror when suddenly I saw a white smoke came out of the mirror, now both mirrors not working any idea on what to check first? Thanks
