Yep the 140 is a far better car IMO. The SLK is nice but too small for an all around daily driver car. You need a car that you are comfortable driving in, not one that meets others opinion of your status, image etc.
I never thought so many people were concerned of having image overload with their W140 benzes. Jealousy will rear its ugly head in many ways.
These postings of young W140 owners getting heat from their friends are kind of funny because they all sound the same. "Friends/Cops hate me because my car is too nice". [
