I have a 93 300e 3.2 liter mercedes and it has a shuddering problem when going slowly and giving acceleration and sometimes misfire but when going around 50 or 60 and give it quite a bit of throttle it will kick down in gear and go but it doesnt have the full power it has. Getting outta the drive way it will shudder really bad. it will drive extremely smooth when not given hard throttle, it will drive fine and go through the gears great. what do you guys think my problem is? and when revved to 4000 and stayed there it shudders and shakes pretty bad. but given regular throttle at idle and not held, it revs fine. i dont know what this is... its driving me crazy all the differnt things it may be.

Guarantee its a coil. $42 on Ebay and you're all fixed. Most likely #1 coil. Use a code reader to figure out which one. I sell them on ebay for $32. Seller rpotter66.

This does not have coils - right? this is not an HFM engine....

I agree with headbanger, it seems you have a misfire..more information about the condition of the car, maintenance, problem areas will be helpful
