I just purchased a 4 set of Lorinser LO 16x8's and looking for pictures of cars on these wheels and what tire size you are using. I'd like to see the difference between 225/50's and 225/55's on 16” wheels. Also I plan to custom cut my stock springs, but tell me if you're using a aftermarket lowered set, ie. HR's, and what spring pad you are using. Since I'm going to cut my springs it may not matter which spring pad to use, but let me know if there is one you recommend, (maybe there is a ride difference?). So let's see them and give my your opinions....I know everyone has one!

Your request may be a bit difficult as only a hand full of members have LO's and of that group finding pic's of various tire sizes could be difficult as well. That along with different manufactures tire profiles are not always consistent. I generally go with more sidewall which improves the ride of the car. Would never go below 50 on a 16" tire. Also if you purchased your LO's used make sure you get them checked for bends and that they are truly round prior to installing any tire. Every set of used LO's I have come across needed attention to make them round again.

Thanks for the input. The points you raised are exactly why I’m asking for photos and the related information. That way I can make the best educated decision. So if you have 16 x 8 wheels let me see and give me your opinion/input.

SEC has Remotec 16" but I can't remember the sizes of the tyres and its cold outside. 225 something same size all round and on both cars although both sets of wheels are staggered. AMG did this back in the day so I did the same.

I included the SE as it wears the LO's. 16"Maybe 8" et11 on the rear but 6.5 et20ish on the front, going from memory.

Both cars at different heights at different times. I seem to change it fairly often. The SEC wears Lorinser srpings, they are way too low but it looks epic. The front wheel arches are rolled I believe, on the SEC.

I had no idea you have Remotec A's on your SEC! For the longest time I looked for a set for my W116 and found out that Borbet Type B was a pretty close equivalent. Neither were available in my neck of the woods at the time and I had to settle for a set of similar Centras which I had no idea existed. I have yet to shine them up and mount them, but my main priority for the last couple years was the C126.

I’ve seen quite a few of your posts. What did you settle on? There’s a particular photo of a child posing in front and wondering what that setup is.
The kid owns the car...

These in your pic look lovely.

Yeah really pleased with the ones on my SEC. They been no trouble either, unlike the bent and bored out LO. (Which are fine now.)

Both my cars I use 225/50/16 for the purpose of this thread.

Thanks! I did not expect to like the Remotecs on the Gen2 C126 as much as I do, but in your case it's a combination of the EU spec goodies (lights/bumpers), the drop and the wheels. It looks amazing!
