I have 2008 mercedes c300 with 17" stock wheels but would like to put 18" amg wheels from a E350. Would there be any ramifications if i put them on? Would i need to have it aligned? Please help.

If you want the look, go for it,but much nicer ride on 17's, less jarring and thumping. Depends what your priorities are I guess, if all was good before you shouldn't need an alignment after changing rims, doesn't affect geometry. Got a photo of the rims your talking about, is the offset correct?

I love the look but the ride is harsh

The roads in PR are not the best but If I were in a place like Florida or Cali then it wouldn't be a real factor. Nevertheless my car came with 18" and I changed them to the SL version. I don't use it as daily driver that is what my R129 is for.

Here in northern California I have the stock AMG 18's on my MB C250 Sport Pkg PLUS with zero problems. The roads here are mostly okay, but some are in need of repair.

My Lexus IS350 has 19's and they require a higher degree of caution because of the shorter tire sidewall height. In the last 5 years I've had 2 minor rim scratches (repairable) resulting from accidently driving through potholes.

Wow your cars look great! I opted for 18" 40ET AmG from a CLA 2014. I'll post some pic's soon. Thank you all for the feedback!
