Is there a known spot in the rear (after the rear safety switch) circuit for shorts? My switches are all good, and the window motors are out of circuit, and it still dead shorts. Could it be the instrument cluster light connection? I am just about to take everything apart, thought someone may know spots that are problems in the wiring, and help me avoid stripping the interior. it seems I take more and more of it apart every day......::rolleyes:

Where I have usually seen problems on the 190E power windows with a short, is where the wires come from the body to the doors. From age and the opening and closing of the doors the wires break inside the black rubber cover causing shorts. I have attached wiring diagram if you dont have one. You might also want to check your relay.
