This morning my S430 reached 100K Kilometers and in the afternoon it started to get stuck in Park. This evening i had problem shifting in Reverse untill it got loose and shift directly to Drive.

When i shift it back to P - R and a couple of times it goes smoothly. The soonest i put it in Park for a couple a second it gets stuck.

The car runs smoothly all gears including 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 and Drive even overdrive.

Sounds like the classic broken shift lock issue...sorry you keep hitting these W220's headaches...

This morning i had to press brake a couple of times untill i can shift out of park. In the afternoon brake wear visit workshop appears on the dash.

Could it be that due to brake wear it is hard to shift out of park?

Problem solved. The shifter gets stuck in park due to the rear brake pads was worn beyond the limits. I had them changed this morning and the shifter works fine. I think it has something to do with the Pre-Safe system. Because the brake wear visit workshop stayed on.

The pad was so worn out the the locking device came loose and holding from the top.
