I'm also having this problem after letting the car sit for a few days. Goes away after 3 minutes of running the car in park (and some pumping of the brakes, although this may be totally irrelevant and purely superstition on my part).
2002 CLK55 with ~270k.

I had a similar problem with my W210. For me ended up being from a weak battery putting out low voltage. I replaced the battery and the symptom has not returned. From my research found it could be a number of things, but I would suggest at least testing your battery. I hope you solution is as simple and inexpensive as mine.

Unfortunately, this was after a new battery. However, it's only an intermittent issue that seems to be driven (at least partly) by colder weather. Definitely not a super-pressing issue.
