Thanks, Witek, et al. I am turning up 1191550115 as the pulley part number. Does this seem right? My 01 ML320 has a different pulley part number that starts with the engine number (112). Did they change alternators on the 113 engine at some point? Just wondering if I will need the whole alternator or just the pulley.

Yes, connections on the back are different between early and late. Pulley number is the same 119 200 01 15.

How did you get it off? Alternator on the car or on the bench?

Wrap piece of old belt around the pulley, hold it with big ass pair of channel locks. Do not mar the pulley.

Took it off with a big pair of channel locks straight on the pulley. Will get some rubber now.
