HI, I have 94 C220 and am looking to change the serpentine belt. I have found a couple DIY on W202, but none for the C220. Is it as simple as just release the tensioner pulley, slip the old belt off then slip the new belt on? I took a quick peek and it looks like the radiator fan is in the way. Any tricks to get this job done?

I'm talking about loosening the tensioner. There is a bolt sticking out of the center of the tensioner the nut so I need to use my deeper socket on it, and there is no room to get the socket around the nut because of the fan.

In case you will not find specific answer in designated forum - most of tensioners have similar design and I found offset box wrench the best for taking tension off.
Usually there is a hole on tensioner that will keep it "open" but for me it is easier to release the tension, take the belt off and let the tensioner go, than trying to find locking hole in the place I can't even see.
