Hi all,
I was checking my pollen filter and have somehow managed to dislodge a sensor. From what I can tell it is an air temp sensor, but I can’t for the life of me work out where it has come from. It obviously sits in some pipework or a housing somewhere, due to the foam seal at one end.
I have attached a photo showing the sensor.
Can anyone assist as to where it is supposed to locate at all?
Vehicle is a 2007 W204 RHD C220 CDi with climate aircon.

That is your Evap temp sensor, there should be a hole close to where the Evaporator is is located in the unit, will be close to the top near fire wall, cant seem to find a google picture to show exact location, you might have to remove a vent tube to see exact location

Ok, thanks for the info. Sounds like I need to take the glovebox out and have a real good look!
