Anyone else going to sema? I was at aapex yesterday chatting with the guys over at mag flow to see if they wanted to play around with a full exhaust on my 95 sl500. We're trying to work something out.

Running over to LA today for some business. But I'll be back at sema tomorrow!

First off: lareau you are very welcome I am sure you are also wondering what the heck MB was thinking when the designed the US Spec headlights. I understand they had to meet US DOT standards but could they have made them any uglier?

Second: did you just put Scion and Ferrari 458 in the same sentence?!?!?

I picked up my pass today but went to sleep after getting it. Tomorrow is the day I'll be going. The liberty walk 458 is on my list of cars to see. I'm keeping an eye out for euro but all I've really seen is Japanese and domestic. And most of them arnt to my taste... I decided not to take pictures of them. However they had a nice e30 that was butchered up...

@pete. Yes. Lol. What was mb thinking with those us specs. Like I cannot believe how ugly they are in comparison. I do want to find the trim with out the wiper holes and do the wiper delete soon! And also. Yes. I did put scion and Ferrari in the same sentence. my bad!

@musclemerk! I spent an hour there today. But had to leave to get lunch with my family! But.... Tomorrow is the day! I'm looking forward to seeing the platinum motor sports booth.

Lareau you can sometimes find them on eBay or have a body shop fill the holes and give them a fresh coat or paint that's what I did.

Nope. Best thing is to find an SL without the wipers for sale on eBay, cut and paste the VIN from that SL into the russian parts site and get the part #s that way.

internet has been bad so no uploaded pix yet :'(

but i networked like crazy and found more sources for things like forged pistons big brake kits ss lines race springs / shocks w/ external reservoirs... i need to look through everything cause i forget everybody i need to follow up with...

im in the process of ordering my carbon body panels estimated cost is 10k right now...
AKE out of thailand my sponser is ordering a wrecked engine r129 for mold making...
but he wont order it til january so waiting for now...
