Not really. The 123 coupe is most desirable; the best looking of the MB coupes, 123Cs are very much in demand.

Some might say you’re crazy to sell – I would not say you’re crazy – but some might say. As far as ‘needing’ more doors, if I had a coupe I’d just find a way to deal with two.

are you sure?...[:(]

Im positive. I love the Coupe. I think they look great, but Im going to be going to college soon (to become a Mercedes Benz mechanic [:D]) and I need the room. I drive alot of people around, move alot of stuff, and that car is just too nice to destory. And I figured since the miles are so low I can sell it, make a few dollars, buy another W123 and still have money left over.

Im gonna miss it, it was really nice. Everything worked. Roof, clock, cruise, all the lights ect.

Ill be kicking myself in the ass in 20 years when this car is worth $50,000. [:p]

BTW, its up to $4,500, and I still have 8 days left. So far I have a $1,500 profit cause I bought the car for $3,000. [:)]

Heres the Wagon Im looking at. Not perfect, but for the money its pretty good.

Even though the odometer doesnt work, how many more miles can it have? In December it had 89,000 miles (I did AutoCheck [^]). Ill fix it up a little and drive it around.

And that $3,500 Buy It Now was my blue Coupe. [:I]

Nice 300CD there! I wish I could trade in my '84 300TD Euro-wagon for that - I love W123 coupes!!! I had three 280CE's, and let them slip away... wish I kept one though. The new owner will, hopefully, cherish it as much as you did. Good Luck!

Im gonna miss it. I really really liked this car, but I need a Wagon. I was thinking about getting a 6.9, but I think Im gonna stick with the 123's.

Have no clue. My reserve is $7,500. I got a bunch of offeres over the phone close to that. Alot of people just want to buy the car outright. But Ive seen these do close to $10,000, so I really want to let the auction run its course.

There is a good chance that you will see a few last second bids that will jump the price up. But then you have to play by eBay rules. If you sell it outright it is just an ordinary car sale. Simple is good.

You are going to miss this car.

I think I have a buyer for $7,500. Sounds good. I also think Im gonna go away from the Diesels for a little bit. Im looking at a 90 300SE (126 body). Very nice car. Guy wants $5,000. Im gonna see if I can get him down a little.

Do.

I got a 91 with 103,000 miles all books and service records for $5k. The 300 SE 126 is a fantastic car – I love mine. It’s a little too modern for my taste with the third brake light and electronic stuff but she’s a great highway car. It’s like a big 300 E. Be aware that the fuel mileage is not much better than the V8s.

I found an other one, a 89 300SE with 130,000 miles for $2,000.

The fuel is no problem. My dad has a gasstation. [:D] The problem with the diesel was my dad dident sell diesel fuel, and I had to pay for it out of my pocket! Im lucky enough to get it for free from him. Just the other day, diesel was $2.71. $10.00 put 3 gallons in it.
