Why is MB keeping the price list such a big secret. You would think that they would have it on the MB site so you could configure the cost of your ML and order. I know a lot of my friends are waiting for the price before they order. I think they would receive a lot more orders prior to the launching. Who knows Maybe it is smart marketing.

I think MB are releasing the prices for the new ML worldwide on march the 3. At least they are releasing the price in Germany at that date, so I guess that is their plan.

One reason I suspect is that the price is going to be much higher than anticipated. The current base MSRP of a W163 ML350 is $39,175 (incl. destination). I am hearing that the base price of the W164 ML350 will be well over $40K. One rumor is that it will be just under $43K, and that “moderately equipped ML350’s will be in the $47K range.

The base MSRP for the ML350 is $35k. My dealer showed it to me on a flyer that they are going to mail out soon.
This is the price he quoted for me for the ML I'm ordering.

That is speculation on your dealer’s part. The price has not yet been set yet, much less released to dealers. Until they can give you a printout with a “Netstar logo on it showing all the price information, then there is no official MSRP for the vehicle. However, this does not prevent them from placing your order. Generally, your order is placed with your agreement to pay some price based on “MSRP at the time of delivery.
