Hi Friends- Shouldn't be that hard to locate the cabin filter but it's kicking my butt. Can't find it in the car, and can't find it on the web. Can anyone help?

I dug into the area beneath the glove box but did not find it- so if it's there please provide some specifics.

Note- I've located and replaced the non-charcoal filter just forward of the firewall- that's not what I need!

I hope you did replace the cabin filter with a combi-filter. On a 2006 W211 this replaces the charcoal filter/cabin filter combination (the charcoal filter only existed on 4-zone models).

As in the previous post, the W211 forum has all this explained.
