I'm in Australia & just bought a 500SEC. There are alloys which are very rough. 245/50R16 on back, 225/50R16 on front. Rear tyres OK front crap. Standard is 205/70.14
How does this work? Seems dodgy to me.
Do other rims from Mercedes fit? eg 500SEL etc.
What about other cars - are there any others with the same stud pattern?
I may be able to salvage the current rims but cost is $200 each, so if I can pick up a set from another car with good tyres, will save heaps. Any advice will be appreciated - I just want to get it on the road & legal so I can start getting other things fixed.
Thanks for any help
Mac
