For some reason, it seems like this was discussed a couple months ago but I can't find the thread. The seals along the top of the door start with a 123 parts number, but are now NLA. I think some suggested trying to cut a length of generic weatherstripping, but what about the inner surface of the originals that is textured for the windows, and the specific thickness and shape so it fits to the brightwork and clips?

Thanks,
Drew

I found BudsBenz has replacement reproductions for $30 each side. Originally part # 123-725-02-65. It's shared with several other chassis, so just a heads up on their webpage you may see mostly SL related parts.

Hopefully not Uro.
I don't know if it's proprietary or one of the aftermarket versions. Whatever it is, I'm sure it will hold up as they perform total restorations (some have been award-winning). They even have proprietary mechanical parts fabricated for some of the 50's and 60's Mercedes. Otherwise I know what you mean.

I searched all the K372 parts for the 350-380-450-560SL that relate to that part of the outer door area and coud not see the rubber seal strip (left or right) ?
I don't need any - but just curious also if another source for these is available?
DrewP will have to post up the part#

Yes, on the Budsbenz site it's K372-354B. It just shows their part number, not the picture of the part in case that's what Kim is referring to. I inquired and they directly communicated/confirmed with me. It is a direct replacement for 123-725-02-65, the number for the SEC door/window outer felt strip. It was shared with the 123, 114, and 107 two-door cars.
