What did ya put in?
Benz, Designo seats in black leather.
Are really comfy on my old back....give more support around the rib cage and take weight (yeah, I'm too heavy) off of the lower back.
What did they come out of, can't say I have seen many of those floating around. All Hail EBay!
hey are you selling the white and black?
Think they came out of a 2004 slk with about 5,000 mi. on it...so they are virtually new. And no, I'd not considered selling the oyster/black seats yet.

Nice seats, cute kid ...

The side bolsters should help a lot on cornering...[:)]
There was a set of white and black seats and the inner door panels on ebay last week.
That's great Max, I hope they make your day! [:)]
Great choice Max!...as most of us have experienced the stock seats leave alot to be desired. Thanks for the pics. [:)]
question: are your seats heated? if so, how easy/hard is the swap out?
is that damn seat adjustment (the one by your right foot) part of the seat or the seat track? man that thing gets in my way........[:(]
The seats are easy to swap out. The heating is controlled with a wiring harness that is easy to unplug.

i'm still trying to find a good repair manual. i bought a chilton's. not very good. instructions were like: "remove filter...." gave me no location for the filter. i just wasn't very impressed with it's lack of info. i know what to do (for the most part) once i find the componant; i just want some help on finding the componant. Seat's wiring harness is located under the front edge of the seat. Runs from floor up to the seat...there are three sets of wires/plugs to undo. Simply mark which plug goes where, unplug, put other seat in, and replug the wiring in the appropriate manner. Right seat has wires in right front area of seat and left seat has wires in the left front area of the seat---clever, those German engineers[:D] The seat itself is removed with the tracks by removing four bolts. The entire process takes about an hour...vacuum the carpet and tunnel under the seat. Made 26 cents on the deal in recovered lost change [)]
