My research shows that a value called Vmax exists in our ECU
Our US version s500 have a value of 130mph

Apparently this value can be raised to 199mph effectively removing our limiter.

So who has an SDS w developer mode in S. Florida?

Yes but it will top out at 145, and you have to remap the fuel/spark programs. There is a whole list.

are you sure?

I have V rated tires & drilled rotors. I would think that Vmax would be only value needed to change.

From what I have read this car ought to top out about 165

When I hit the 130 mph limiter, I was only turning 2800 RPMS in 7th gear

Why would fuel or spark be related to maximum power & RPMs?

When I shift with tiptronic I can take it to almost 6000 RPMS in each gear developing the whole 304 HP around 4500 RPM

Why would ground speed be relevant to the engine's output?

Absolutely guessing here but I know at the limit the spark/fuel is cut off.. maybe after removing limiter something needs to be changed for spark fuel? No idea.. just a guess..
