I have read some of the posts Regarding Trans issues and understand a bit more but still need some help.This is on my 92 300te I call The Beast.Running well for a car with 200k plus.Lately,trans thumping up and down gears,now will not shift into 4th on highway at all.fluid and filter changed 2 mo ago.upon inspection I noticed missing vacuum line on the shifter connect side.I cannot find any corresponding line.must have fallen off both sides.My question is, where on engine does this vacuum hose connect to?Is it intake manifold or a control module that I do not know about.

Yup, connects to the intake manifold. On the M103 pull the air cleaner and look around the back half of the IM. You'll find it..

The not shifting into 4th has me a bit concerned...

Has me a bit concerned too but not that concerned,as I only need this car for 1 more day.I only need to register the saab(hatemall)that my wife gifted me recently.I will be parting out the 300te.cannot sell in good faith to anyone,has too many problems.I think it will be like selling body parts from an old friend.I have worked on this car sooo long.Oh well,that's what therapists are for.
