Has anyone got their oil analyzed by Blackstone lab and could post the report as sample, possibly with interpretation? I'd like to know more before using their service.

Report by other labs is also welcome.

My Blackstone report

Here is one of mine. I have used them for several analyses and I think they are a very good lab. As you can see, this was the 2nd report and compares the more frequent oil change with the 1st.

Thanks Musikmann, I see that you got pretty good numbers and no trace of fuel or coolant in the oil. I will have it done some time.

I have seen this report by Musikmann but have to say that the results are kind of skewed because he added 4 quarts of new oil between oil changes.

True loubapatche and I'm still using oil. By the time I have the oil changed again, I think I'll have added 4-5 quarts (up to 3 now and waiting ~3000 miles until the next one). Darn FSS right now says I don't need service for 7500 miles but I last had it changed at 70,000 and doing it again at 80,000 (a little over 77,000 now).
