Im wondering how to pull the MB-TEX cover off my 82 300D. I need to take a look at the seat springs, cause the seat is getting very soft. Or is there a way to interchange the passenger seat with the driver seat... that sounds like the easiest thing to do. Seat parts are extremely expensive, so I want to try to solve this problem using what ive got.

You may be able to switch the seat bottoms. But I think it would be way to much work. i think your springs amy be broken. I replaced a seat with another that had the springs welded. The seat bottoms come off easily. Remove the seat from the car and it is pretty much self explanatory how the covers are held on. No tools needed really. Just a simple roll over and tuck.
