I know this topic has been discussed at length before, but believe me I have searched the bowels of the internet only to come up empty. The problem is the infamous 'sagging door' syndrome on the 560 SEC. It is difficult to close the doors without slamming them very hard...something that I am reluctant to do. Anyways, if you could give me a how-to on how to correct the problem, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,

Paul R.

It is actually pretty complex to get just right.

Some dealers may still know how to do it, but find a mercedes bodyshop to do the adjustment. Also, there may need to be some paint touchup required. I have been looking around, but i can't find anyone that will do the adjustement.

But before all that, check if the door is loose, maybe the pins are just bent.
