Hello,
I am currently in the process of fixing my 1995 SL600. I had trouble with the passenger side ETA, so i bought a S600 ETA thinking this would work. Can anyone tell me what were color of the resistors on the original SL600 ETA Part Number 000 141 56 25?
This seems to be the only difference between them. Your input would be greatly appreciated, Thank you in advance.

Wish I could help, but I've got a later car with regular throttle bodies, so I have nothing to compare.

Mercedes had such trouble with the ETA/fly-by-wire system that they took a step backwards and scrapped it and just used normal TB's after 1996ish. There is a company that will overhaul your original for cheap, let me see if I can find the link.

thank you ken. The problem with mine is that i had 000 141 55 25 on the left side and a modified 000 141 88 25 on the right side. So i mistakenly bought an 8825 to later find out it belonged to an S-class not an SL. So if anyone has a 93-95 SL600, please check the resistors for the passenger side throttle.. part number 000 141 56 25

Hi I have a 94 SL320. I have replaced a brand new throttle actutator lately and am waiting for an used cruise control amplifier for replacement. I would like to know, after installing a replacement (used) cruise control amplifier, will I be able to carry out the relearn process by myself without going back to the $$dealer? I read some threads that they can carry out the 'relearn' procedures by turning the key to ignitation position so I'm wondering it is feasible with my car. Can anyone give me some information? Many thanks.

Fernandobaez,

Good question, and I am also curious as well. For your 1995 SL600, if your concern is regarding the compatability between the two different M120 600 V12 TBAs which are MB part numbers: 000 141 5525 and 000 141 5625, I will speak with an expert who specializes in Mercedes TBA's tomorrow (if I can get in contact with him) that should be able to confirm for us.
Hey would you have an access on your expert these days and ask him if there is a way to rebuild/replace the potentiometer track in the TBA in the post 96+ models?
I've contacted Bosch and they don'T offer replacement for anypart inside the TBA it come as a whole . Even the "rebuilding" companies don't rebuild the potentiometers, just the wiring

thanks!
