I just picked up a 2000 E320 4Matic in a package deal for $500. 274k but it runs and drives, just rough overall. I might sell it but I really want to keep it for Gambler 500 next year. My issue is while I'm pretty good with parts replacer, modifying stuff is not my forte. So my question is... what do I have to do to lift this thing? Nothing crazy, just a few more inches to accommodate bigger knobby tires. Anybody have experience with this?

If you have MB spring compressor, you can add thicker spring pads at both top and bottom of the spring perches.

EDIT: I didn't see it was 4matic.

You could adjust the SLS valve on the rear to raise the rear end. Unfortunately not aware of any method to increase the front shocks height. Maybe need to cut fenders?

Oh bummer. So you think it's not a good candidate for Gambler then?

The 4matic, no. Unless you're aware of a coilovers that's longer that also fits 210?
