WHAT!!!! Take that back. Mind you though the potential for something to break could leave the mighty beast stranded.[:D]

I think the W221 would win. It has the horsepower and torque to gain ramming speed. But the material as I understand is more "flexible", "bendable" for safety reason.

It's not almost 100% steel as they used to make them. It'd be a tough call.

But in demolition derbys, you're out when the car can no longer run or move.

Well, I would have to say the W126, even though I have both a W140 and a W126, the W126 feels much more solid. I have not got into any accidents in my W126, except for small ones, But I used to have a w140 1995 S500, and got it into a Major accident, and it not only saved my life, but also, was still able to drive, even when it was smashed up. Although, it was a total loss, and the cops came, so I couln't drive it home...

but anywayz, i think the W126 would win. But I think the 220 and 221 would be out first.

Great topic. I say 126, hands down.

But if I'm worried about my skin (as opposed to which car would make the best battering ram) prob a 220 or 221.

A couple of good hits to the W126 will surely disable the crankshaft reference sensor rendering it immobile thus......[}:)]

This thread is blasphemy and I will sin no more!

[:)] Ah,come on [:)] It's all hypothetical conjecture to sort of figure out which is the toughest S class ever produced.
