I have my vehicle at the dealer for one or two warranty issues. While dropping it off I also pointed out that all four calipers were rusting and they said they would look at them.
Got a call saying they fixed everything, but the rusting calipers are completely normal and there is nothing they can or will do...

I've owned a number or cars of many different makes....and this is the only one that has ever had rusting calipers. And I mean quite a bit...I'd say about half the caliper on two wheels is covered in rust.

Anyone else experienced this? Is it normal, or am I just being brushed off by the dealer?

Hi - I have brake rotors in the back that have a lot of rust on the main hub, but not on the disk itself. Yes, I was brushed off by the dealer that this is normal. It looks like a defect to me. Hope to hear more feedback from other owners.

Brake cleaner, masking tape Rustoleum primer and Chrome paint...just like new.

Rotors, gray primer (looks just like factory new rotors).

You probably live in the rust belt?
