I've used a sprinkle of comet on a wet rag to wipe mine down, then blast them with water, clean as a whistle. Only ever need to do it maybe once or twice a year.
Rubbing alcohol did the trick on wipers!
My new 11 C300s wipers were jumping a bit when on in light rain. I cleaned them with rubbing alcohol and they work smoothly now. Took off a lot of black residue. Brand new car and wipers were just used once. Just thought I should let others know.
