I have been using it for decades on every car I have owned and never had a problem. I replace the wipers every year before winter as a normal piece of my maintenance routine. I use Bo-Ami to clean the glass works fantastic.
Rubbing alcohol did the trick on wipers!
My new 11 C300s wipers were jumping a bit when on in light rain. I cleaned them with rubbing alcohol and they work smoothly now. Took off a lot of black residue. Brand new car and wipers were just used once. Just thought I should let others know.
