new to ownership of 190e 2.3 and first time i've had a 4cylinder. is 65 mph with 3000 rpm's a normal ratio? seems high but new to 4cylinders. anyone know where i find the shifting rpm info? thanks

Many thanks. it's an automatic. and some others have said what you did.
do you have a repair manual? i got a Haynes one used, but it doesn't seem that great. for instance it didn't give the gear shifts. but thanks for the answer. phil

Many thanks. seems like it should shift but it does kick in when i downshifted. Appreciate your responding to my initial query. phil
