Hi all!

Today my 89 300CE with 180k had a strange symptom while reducing speed at around 30

mph.

RPM had started fluctuating btw 1000 ~ 2500 like crazy which made my car hesitating.

When I put gas, it becomes fine again. Any other range is totally fine.

Is this a transmisson problem? It happens only when I reduce speed without putting my foot

on a pedal. Anyone had similar issue?

Replace your OVP relay. This not a transmission problem.

I'll try to inspect what is wrong with OVP.

It will be third time if I replace OVP in two years though.
