Rookie,violent wobble at 65mph.

Hi all, stumbled upon this forum searching for answers.Recently purchased a beautifull 300 ce in amazing condition fsh the lot.Bought and installed 18" deepdish rims with 225/40/18 tyres and now when i reach 65 the car wobbles like mad.all wheels have been balanced and alighned,any ideas as to my problem would be much appreciated.thanks in advance.

I have a similar wobble also, but not so violent. I have 235,40 17" rims. Did you buy the rims second hand? If so, then you should check to see if they have been buckled.
