Roof trim won't stay in, can the clips be replaced that holds it in place. Dealer didn't know what I was referring to, any help is appreciated.

Are you talking about the dark metallic trim that runs along the edge of the roof, between it and the door? That's called the "water deflector" and there are clips that hold it in place. Part number is A2036900013 and there are ten of them (five per side).

That's it and that's exactly what I needed to know. Thanks

Any good parts guys should have been able to find this. If you have another nearby dealership you can use, do so. I'm not sure I'd let these guys touch my car!

I had this happen on my '02... for about three days, it sounded like a random acorn was falling on the roof -- intermittently. at highway speeds.... DROVE. ME. NUTS.

I finally realized what it is an tapped it back in gently - stayed ever since.

LOL! Loose trim can cause all sorts of odd noises. I saw a car (an Infiniti G37) going down the road yesterday and the bottom engine cover was flopping all around. I am sure it was making all kinds of horrible noises and vibrations. I'll bet the guy driving thought it was falling apart.
