Hello All.
Just a word of caution. My SLK had a very slight dent in the roof, which I only saw around a week after deliver. I took it to MB and told them that it was probably some mechanism in the boot pressing against the top of the roof to cause this slight dent. They ofcourse denied this and said it was probably a shopping bag! (I would never put a shopping bag on my roof) Anyway last week it seems the left fan (attached to the backboard that opens and closes as the roof opens and closes) completely gave up and stayed closed when the roof opened (it should have fanned out when the roof is opened) This caused a huge dent in the roof. It appears that some of these "fans" are not completely aligned from the factory and may go off their hinges once in a while like mine did. A whole new part is now on order for me from germany.
