Ok, here is my $60 set of Ronal wheels. They are in ok shape but have to be sanded and painted and I need new tires before they can be put on.

They are white with silver and 2 are pretty good with almost no wear but the other two aren't as great. One has a decent sized chunk missing and the other has more curb damage than I would like. I plan to keep the outer ring silver and I will probably paint the spokes black.

Here they are in their full glory with mismatched rubber and in a quite dirty state.

After I paint them and get some tires I will mount them on the euro hopefully with some stiffer front springs that can lower the car about an inch or so as well. Anyone know of any good springs for that?

I plan on putting 215/55's in front and 235/50s in the back.

Looks great! Getting new rubber would be a good idea. Who knows how long those old tires have been on.

They are 16's. I look forward to the improved traction and better handling characteristics they will provide. I'll try to have them done before the june w123 meet.

If I don't like how they look on the euro I will switch them over to turbo, I've been thinking euro though because I like driving that car better up in the hills and stuff because of the ablility to shift and I think they will help my traction. Also I don't know how I would paint them for the turbo.

Ok, they are going on the turbo. I am just going to sand the current paint down untill the allow is showing. I sanded a few spots just for a minute and I think they will look good. I should have them mounted with new tires by memorial day. Hopefully the A/C will be going by then as well. No euro for a few weeks but boy the turbo is such a solid car.

Ok, sanding rims sucks. I spent about 30 minutes working on one this evening with little results. The flat surfaces are easy but I have no idea how I would get the corners. Tommorow I am going to call some sandblasting places to see how much it would cost to get them blasted. After that I would apply some clear and get some tires on them. I really like the polished metal look.

I have one, its still too small. If I can get them blasted for under $150 I'll be happy. I also don't have the time with my condensor project and other misc. stuff for the turbo, I want the new wheels on before memorial day weekend. I figure it would take me well over 2 hours a wheel. I just don't have 8 hours to spare right now.
