I got a nice present today. I think it really sorts out the interior of my SEC. The centre console just didn't look right without it, although the carpeted tray area is useful. The addition of the wooden steering wheel seemed to make it look even more lacking in the centre console area.

Pretty pleased with it anyway :)

Thanks guys.

Yep Grumpy, they are quite similar. I am looking for a suitable centre emblem, what does yours have?

Um...no logo, just a plain black center horn button. Horn buttons are available with a MB logo but are expensive and it can be added later if desired.

Hmm same as mine then.

I've looked at so many emblems, most either don't fit or I just don't like them. I don't like the look of the plain centre on mine though. Where did you see the MB emblem?

How about a bling emblem in crystal rhinestones to help tone down the wood a little?:D:D:D

Ooh hadn't thought of that. I could have red ones... :)

Thanks Sam, it is pretty good, there's a big hole in the drivers seat bolster that I have to get fixed sometime soon though. But its another £100 ..

I have an issue where my roll top is stuck in it's track. The handle is not in place and I usually pull the roll top forward with the remnant of cloth that the handle sandwiches. Can the roll top assembly be removed with out removing the console from the car?

Yes. Inside on the front edge there are two screws. Remove and then remove box. The track is probably gunky. Just clean it out once you have the RTB out.

Thanks for the reply, I have removed the screws and pulled up on the box some. It feels pretty tight so I'll try with a little more force and hope all comes out OK.
