At the top, there are clips that slide in (from the top down). At the bottom, the clips snap in. So, to remove, you pull from the bottom towards you to release the snaps, then after you have them all disconnected, you need to slide the whole panel up towards the sky to disengage from the body. However, some of these panels also have a screw that holds them in from the front/side that you need to make sure have been removed so you don't break it. The service CDs may have more info, I don't remember which ones have that screw and which don't. I'm guessing the door one does because its so big.

Body Panel Removal SEC

Markus is right about the screw (7 mm stud/plastic nut). On the rear edge of the door .Look at the door weather stripping...you should see a round portion of the rubber that is where the end of the outer door moulding is. pull/pry out that part of the weather stripping and you will se a black 7 mm plastic nut you need to remove.

At the front of the door body panel is a slide in clip that after you remove the outer door body panel from back to front, you just slide the panel rearwards to release the front of the panel. The door body panel has all pop in mounts iexcept for the upper forward and upper rearward mount (front slides in rear has the 7 mm stud). Jerk on all the mounts of the door with exception of those two noted.

The front and rear smaller panels are exactly as Markus posted. Crappy pictures to follow. Notice the slot at the front mount of the door panel and the hole for the stud at the rear of the door.

Cheers
Greg

So the front fender and rear quarter panel require a pull from the bottom, then a slide upward to the sky?
The door panel is a pull from the bottom, then a slide towards the front of the car?

I just did this. I tried doing the slide forward thing but had no luck. I ended up pulling hard on the panels and they broke free. Expect to break a few fasteners though ... I don't think you can avoid it. New ones are very inexpensive at the dealer or Autohaus.

\\Front fender/ rear quarter...pull from bottom then slide down to release the top.

Door...undo the 7 mm plastic nut, pull along the bottom to release the entire bottom row, then pop the top ones out in the same manner till you get to the very front top door fastner which simply slides out sliding it towards the back...
