im getting oil vapour i think out of the breather outlet on the side of the rock cover, thus its leaving oil in the air filter housing via the breather pipe. I've had the breathers all off and cleaned them. The only place there was a build up in the casting part the is next to the cold start valve where the RPM adjustment screw is, but this has made no difference, it seems there is too much pressure at the top of the engine...<br> any ideas pls...

no idea, I have a diesel (no vacuum generated by engine-need a vacuum pump), but I had a similar problem in several cars (the latest was my 1988 Jeep), and it was always the clogged PCV valve.
