I was just wondering what your opinions were for the aftermarket rims I am getting for my sliver SLK 55 AMG.

I am stuck between two DCR models: (The will be in hyperblack with chrome lip)

a) Monte Carlo
b) Hockenheim

Also wanted to know if 19x10 in the back and 19x9 in the front is good.

Your feedback would be greatly apprcieated ASAP because apparently it takes 6-8 weeks to get these rims.

Thanks.

Get the Montecarlo's in 19x8.5 front and 19x10 or 9.5 at the rear 9.5 most preferb due to the width of the rim.

Those are both great choices, I'm partial to the hockenheim, the suzuka is also another one I like. Check out my sig below. 19x10 is what I have on 265 width tires a bit. Alroumi is right 10" stretches the 265 tires. 9.5" would be perfect, if I could do it again, I would go with 9.5", it's not like you can fit 285 width tires. 19x9 fronts will stick out like a sore thumb literally. 8.5" is max w/o looking like a low rider. 6-8 weeks for custom wheels is the norm, don't be surprise if it takes longer.

So you car now has 19x9 in the front and 19x10 in the back.

Have you lowered your car?

Do you think I will have to?

No and yes, I have 19x8.5 fronts and 19x10 rears on 235/35 and 265/30 tires.

Yes with brabus lowering springs

You don't have to but it will make it look a lot better if you do. :)

If I do lower it, I would want to use coil overs so that I can adust them for winter and summer driving.

Anyone know where I could get a reasonable price for good ones?

Thanks.

Yeah that was once upon a time. My buddy sells the H&R coils for something like $1070 cash. Too bad dampening isn't adjustable on those. I'm just gonna get the H&R Sports unless someone thinks the coils are just that much better.
